Many of you have likely already experienced the healing and healthy benefits of these ingredients. Today, we’re sharing a recipe for excellent jam that’s packed with vitamins and fiber.
Ingredients:
- 1.1 lbs (500 g) of beetroots
- 1.1 lbs (500 g) of carrots
- 1.1 lbs (500 g) of apples
- 1.1 lbs (500 g) of lemon juice
- 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of water
- Sugar to taste (you can adjust the sweetness based on your preference)
Preparation:
- Begin by boiling the beetroots, carrots, and apples.
- After boiling, blend them together and add 1.1 lbs (500 g) of lemon juice.
- In a separate pot, combine sugar and 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of water, and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the blended fruits and vegetables to the sugar-water mixture.
- Cook for 20 minutes, occasionally skimming off any foam that forms.
- To check the jam’s density, pour a small amount onto a tray.
- Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, seal them tightly, and turn them upside down.
- Allow the jam to cool.
This jam has an amazing taste and can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It’s ideal for pancakes, fritters, or simply spread on a roll with butter.
