Ingredients:
- 12 fresh dinner rolls
- 1 pound smoked ham, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces Gruyere cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of both halves of the rolls.
- Layer the sliced smoked ham and Gruyere cheese on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the ham and cheese to create sandwiches.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, poppy seeds, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sandwich rolls, making sure to cover each one evenly.
- Place the sliders on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
- Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
