Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Tonic

Apple cider vinegar and honey have been used for centuries as natural remedies for various health issues. When combined, they create a potent tonic that can provide numerous health benefits. Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Approach:

  1. Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar:
    • What you need: a jar, a rubber band, a piece of fabric
    • Ingredients:
      • 2 cups (about 473 mL) of apples cut into pieces (skins and cores can be used after using the fruit)
      • 2 tablespoons of sugar
      • 3 cups (about 710 mL) of filtered water
    • Approach:
      1. Place the apple pieces in a glass container.
      2. Fill the container with filtered water.
      3. Add sugar and shake until it dissolves.
      4. Cover the container with a piece of cloth and a rubber band.
      5. Put the container in a dark place for about 3-4 weeks.
      6. Stir occasionally to ensure the apple pieces are submerged.
      7. After 3-4 weeks, drain the apple pieces and leave the liquid in the glass for another 3-4 weeks.
  2. Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Tonic:
    • Mix 2 teaspoons of homemade apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of warm water.
    • Stir well until the honey is dissolved.
    • Drink this tonic in the morning on an empty stomach for best results. If not possible in the morning, consume it 30 minutes before a meal.
    • Alternatively, you can drink it prophylactically for 4 weeks.
