The ingredients:
100 ml milk
2 eggs
220 g flour
50 ml oil
1 apple cut into slices
100 g sugar
1 spoonful of vanilla
1 spoonful of baking powder
A small pinch of salt
The cream is the filling:
25 ml of milk
50 grams of sugar
15 grams of cornstarch
10 grams of vanilla sugar
1 egg
Preparation:
First, prepare the custard: The first step in preparing a custard is to beat together the egg, stevia sweetener (or sugar), vanilla sugar, cornstarch and milk in a saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil while whisking continuously. Continue to cook it until it reaches a consistency similar to a custard.
When the cream has reached room temperature, cover it with plastic wrap.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, stevia sweetener (or sugar), salt and vanilla. Stir for three to four minutes, or until light and airy, using an electric mixer.
Mix in the milk and oil, then sift in the flour and baking powder.
After all the rest, add some apples cut into thin slices.
On a 27 × 27 cm pan lined with parchment paper, pour half of the batter. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and the remaining half of the mixture.
Using a piping bag and a pipette tip, create a checkerboard pattern with the pastry cream.
Then bake the cake for 40-45 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius.
Simply dust with powdered sugar before serving.
